House on the hill (?)

I think the joke is that the house was there only a day earlier and filled with people and now it's gone. Like it fell off the cliff. I think a lesser film would have had Cosby say "It's just one of those weeks."

If you notice on the patio scene the place is crumbling away...there's rebar sticking out and half the patio is gone with a huge drop off. At the strip club later, Boggs again mentions his own house. He then says..."at least it's not falling off a cliff."
