Did you ever get a VCR copy of the movie The Great Waltz? I am interested in learning the name of the music played at the funeral in the movie, about 25 minutes into the picture. Can you help me. I also seek a VCR copy of the movie as well. Thanks. -Norman F.Bohrer

Can anyone tell me if the Great Waltz of 1972 was a Disney film??
I remember when i was about 9 or 10 going to the cinema to see a film all about johann Strauss and being mesmerised by the film. I'm told it was called The Great Waltz but am unsure if its this one. I'd love to see it again somehow.

No. That was another version, which starred Kerwin Matthews and Senta Berger. I think that might've been a European-financed film.

The Great Waltz (1972) is an MGM film. It looked good on a big theatre screen.
