Can anyone tell me if the Great Waltz of 1972 was a Disney film??
I remember when i was about 9 or 10 going to the cinema to see a film all about johann Strauss and being mesmerised by the film. I'm told it was called The Great Waltz but am unsure if its this one. I'd love to see it again somehow.

This one WASN'T a Disney film. This one came out in 1972.
You are thinking of THE WALTZ KING, starring Kerwin Matthews and Senta Berger, which was released in the US as a Disney film. That film was a decade earlier -- around 1963.
The star, Mary Costa, was the voice of Aurora in the Disney movie "Sleeping Beauty". So it does have some Disney genetics.
