I like a lot of cheesy bad horror movies and have seen my share
i have recently bought a 41 horror classic and a 50 movie horror classics box set from walmart and this movie is by far one of the most terrible gawd awful movie i have ever seen
I agree with you on that! I saw this movie last week and will not watch it again! I really like good vampire films, but this film went way over the top! After being raped, a poor woman decides to keep her baby(thinking it was her boyfriends) and to keep her baby alive feeds him her own blood which later results in her death! That was very disturbing, and sad!!! I like movies about the macabre, but this film was beyond that!
shareI think this movie was creepy and unnerving. It held a suspenseful pace. I adore the photography and the film that turned 90 per cent of the shot into black and white. The portrayal of Kroft/ Caleb was purely sociopathic. He made me shiver when he tells his students, ‘I locked the exists and now I will kill all of you’. His coldness is so nonchalant, his victims don’t understand the reality of the threat. Not even after the séance where they witnessed Anne being possessed by Anita. I am grateful that this was a low budget film. The story was good enough it didn’t need gore and special effects. To me, this movie ranks up there with the 1962 ‘Carnival of Souls’ and the 1968 version of ‘Night of the Living Dead’.
