Movie Holds Up Better Than Many Present Releases

It's always a surprise when an older film from the sixties or seventies is more entertaining than present day releases. I wonder why its so difficult for Hollywood to make good movies anymore?

LOL! I was attempting to be gracious toward the present day Hollywoood industry status quo. I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds older movies generally superior to newer efforts.

Moody and atmospheric. Proposing marriage to his girlfriend in a foggy graveyard said it all... you know nothing good was going to happen here!

I'd typically rather watch something like this than the kind of stuff churned out by Hollywood.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

I just watched this on Roku... and HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

When it started, all I thought was Channel 48 with the "Creature Double Feature" and "Night Owl Fright" LOL

It was great... I have to watch it again cause I was so tire I fell asleep in the beginning... but loved the whole 70s foreign B movie thing.

and you are right... Hollywood keeps making remakes of movies that we can still remember... like CUJO!!!

I seen this movie many many times during the years. Now when the couple is in the grave yard. I destictly remember the girl was already pregnant with her boyfriend's baby... before she was attacked by the vampire. Now how is it. When the vampire attacked and raped her...Does his vampire genes or curse develops in her womb. And over ride her boyfriend's genes. Doesn't make any sense. But thats show biz. The producer and director don't expect...the viewers to know anything about the story line.
