I mean Rocco just barged in there with a machine gun and just started shooting, it looked like she was still alive at the end but I don't see how she at least wouldn't have gotten shot?

Rocco wasn't going to take careful aim even if he didn't mind witnesses being left alive. I'm sure his plan was to take out Tattaglia at all costs and any witness as well.

3:10: you can see her get hit on the right side of her chest. Probably fatal. She might live if she's lucky, but I'm guessing not.
