Best film ever made, Shyamalan said. End of discussion. Well, I'd put Schindler's List right up there with The Godfather.

1972's box office champ and Best Picture winner.

The 1970's. Shyamalan's list.

Dead Poet's Society is a good enough film but should it really be up there with the classics?

Also, I'd say a lot of older classics should be in there as well as some newer action type films like Apocalypto.

reply

No.

I don’t even think it’s very good, let alone great.

reply

I actually hate Dead Poets Society. The kids essentially lied to save themselves from expulsion and had their teacher's career and reputation ruined. At the end they stand up and say My Captain and he forgives everything? I would have given them the finger.

M.Night is an successful director who makes millions so you lose

reply

And?? Schwarzenneger is one of the highest paid actors ever, despite not having any tallent.

M.Night's movies are getting worse and worse with time. For the past 10 years, all his movies received many razzie awards nominations. The guy certainly has tallent... he just doesn't care enough about it anymore.

Arnold had a successful run unmatched by any action movie star I can think of, from 82-94, with a few duds here and there.

reply

Exactly to say Arnie has no talent is just ignorant.

reply

There is a difference between having tallent and fit for certain roles and be strategical to pick them. If Arnie is a good actor, Trump is a great president. Fucking morons.

reply

"You’re right Split and The Visit received Razzie nominations."

Nitpicking at its best! Exceptions don't make the rules.

LOL at 'good' and 'okay' to some of the greatest movies ever made. Fucking idiot.

"LOL at 'good' and 'okay' to some of the greatest movies ever made."

I told you before that you're not qualified to have an opinion. For the record, that applies to all topics, because you've established (and reestablished, many times) that you're an utter buffoon.

"Fucking idiot."

Comical Irony Alert: Part VII, you know, coming from the moron who can't even tell the difference between a man and a woman, and can't tell the difference between flesh and plastic bags of silicone, and who contradicted himself by using Stacy Keibler as an example of a woman with good legs.

Also, since, in the many times you've replied to me, you've yet to say anything even remotely intelligent (due to your status as a registered idiot), I can do without you cluttering up my notifications page with pure foolishness. Consider yourself on ignore.

reply

You have been consistently owned on every topic we have ever debated which is why you're pretending to put me on ignore so you can avoid another ass kicking. Stop littering this site with moronic posts and i'll stop bullying you.

and who contradicted himself by using Stacy Keibler as an example of a woman with good legs

Stacy Keibler is famous for having great legs, the fact that you prefer manly women with stumpy legs and a massive Fred Flinstone toe is your own unpopular opinion. Like I said, you should join a transgender dating site, you'll have a ball.

All of these movies are A1 to me. Seems like a good list. A little too favorable towards 70s movies imo but people do say that was a golden age of movies, because it was.

Each movie has a great performances and each was directed by a well-known director.

To those bitching, we do not know if these are his favorite 10, what he condiders the best 10, whatever.

My favorite film (Searching For Bobby Fisher) is not even close to being in my Top 10 for best films ever made.
