If you polled 300 million americans and asked them if they like the godfather movie i would bet my life that at least 27 percent would say they either don't like it,don't care for it, or have no opinion on it or are neutral on it. 300 million is a lot more than 1,000,000 million IMDB voters (who mostly are fans of the Godfather)

with 300 million americans there is going be a lot a lot a lot more variance in a movie poll then movie fans on sites like IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes. Otherwise it's brainwashing

Seriously, every person is different ,different minds, different tastes. IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes is too small of a sample size .
