Can anybody provide details of the soundtrack to the 1973 movie. A list of songs and the performers would be helpful. Having first read the book in 1973 and then watching the movie. It was the soundtrack the enabled the movie to be just as compelling and haunting as the book.

shareThreer isn't a soundtrack. The songs in the movie are not by the actual artists because of copywright issues. I'm sure the end credits will tell you what songs were used. And poljfty, what you have listed as the soundtrack is an album by Jefferson Airplane, not the actual sountrack for the movie.

That's an awesome scene with the little brother carrying in the birthday cake and bumming out when he realizes how wasted his sister and her friends are and Shatner obliviously wielding the champagne bottle.
