Morrow was so good as the cruel and sadistic inmate,it was scary. He was an incredibly talented actor AND director who was taken from the world far too soon. I was just 6 when he and the children were killed so I don't remember it. But I have seen the videos on YouTube in which the three were killed. It's very sad and my heart literally ached when I saw it. I could not stop sobbing.

I love him in "Combat!" as well. It just wasn't the same when he didn't appear in an episode though.

Indeed, Vic Morrow was an incredibly gifted actor with a great deal of effortless craft. But what is inadvertantly and eerily prescient in this film is Hogo Slokam's claim that there are only two things he cannot get into the prison, the first is a helicopter, the second is a woman.
