Alternate ending for Spain?

According to imdb ( https://imdb.com/title/tt0068638/alternateversions ), they were required to add a scene where Doc went back to jail to able to show the movie in Spain.

I can't find any other info about this, can anyone verify if this is true?

I wonder if there is any chance that this scene is available anywhere to watch. Probably very unlikely, even if the scene was actually filmed, but would be interesting to see.
