Japanese Scarface
I love this movie. I think it's like a Japanese Scarface (or more appropriately, maybe I should say that Scarface is like an American Street Mobster since it came over a decade after Street Mobster).

shareYeah but the original American scarface with Paul Muni came out in 1932, 40 years before Streetmobster, so you could call it a Japanese Scarface.
Republicans dont watch stand up, theyre busy watching cartoons, trying to see who's gay.

I don't think it can exactly be called a Scarface. Scarface rose from street thug to powerful drug lord. Okita never made it past the level he started at. He never really became what he wanted to be.
