I would like to buy this on DVD, is that possible?
Please tell me where?

It's possible... But, as someone who is also interested, you're not gonna be happy about the pricing! Check amazon and ebay.

Now this was about 3-4 years ago. i got it new on half.com for 5 bucks and change plus shipping of course. I hear is more rare now though.

YES. it was unavailable for a long time in an ''affordable'' version. simply because the dvd went out of print & the private sellers [thieves] on amazon can charge whatever they pleased. however there is a beautiful, clear version of GARGOYLES [1972] on DVD from a company called ''HENSTOOTH VIDEO'' released in 2011. it sells brand new on amazon for only $14.99 + shipping. it has an audio commentary by the director too. heres the link http://www.amazon.com/Gargoyles-Cornel-Wilde/dp/B004S8UTII/ref=sr_1_3?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1353808602&sr=1-3&keywords=gargoyles

There are copies on Amazon for about $12 plus shipping. I got one as a Christmas present last year and enjoyed it very much.
