Anyone notice?

After Diana returns from the police station back to the hotel, she gets startled by her father and the outside hotel lights start blinking. Also, when the gargoyles break into the hotel to try and recover their dead friend, Dr Bowley takes the dead gargoyle to put him in the back of the station wagon and almost folds the body in half as he opens the cars back gate.
