PLOTHOLE?

I thought that they were supposed to be invincible after being stabbed with the knife, but George commits suicide with a pistol in the tub. I know that later Hess finds a way to die but his way involves the shadow of a cross & seems more mystic.

So is this a plot hole of am I missing something?

reply

George was never infected, he just had the dagger which carried the disease. The song in the opening has a line about how slaves who were killed shall never die until the shadow of the cross touches their dark hearts. BTW slave in this context has more to do with being a slave to addiction. Ganja is marijuana and Hess is slang for hash.

It isn't a plot hole, you are very much missing something! George was never a vampire and that was clear in the film.

Both Ganja and Hess were stabbed and killed with the dagger only to come back to life. While they may not be according to Hoyle vampires, there is a supernatural (religious?) element in the film.

Wait a second... are you saying that Hess wasn't a vampire until he got stabbed i bed? If that's the case I totally missed it!
