In Movie FUZZ, Raquel Welch Would Not Do Any Scenes With Burt Reynolds

In The Movie FUZZ, Raquel Welch Would Not Do Any Scenes With Burt Reynolds.

On the movie set for the movie 100 RIFLES (1969) Raquel Welch asked Burt Reynolds why he had not made a pass at her (romantically). Burt told her that he was certain that if he got into her pants he would find a poster of herself there instead of any female parts.

I think he was saying that she was too full of herself for his taste.

Needless to say this made RW very angry and hence her firm resolve to do no scenes with Burt later on when they starred in FUZZ (1974).

Tom Skerritt should and probably did thank Burt for the sleeping bag stake-out scene in FUZZ.

Now if old Burt had remembered RW types when he met LONI ANDERSON years later, he would have been safer. LONI too was all about LONI.

I wonder if on the set of the "The St. Valentine's Day Massacre" (1967)
There were hard feelings between George Segal, & Ralph Meeker as they had no scenes together.

Rotflmao...and BTW, that comment about Raquel and Burt is completely untrue. The movie had a SCRIPT before it was casted.
Burt & Raquel were friends since 100 Rifles

Where do people dig up this crap?

They may not have a scene together, but Reynolds and Welch are in the same SHOT where he's in the police station in the background laughing as Welch has to interview a crazy oversexed older woman.

Years later, Reynolds said while he and Racquel Welch indeed didn't get along in the movies they made, he elected to come to her defense in when she sued MGM for removing her from "Cannery Row" opposite Nick Nolte and replacing her with Debra Winger. MGM claimed unprofessional behavior; Reynolds testified that Welch was always professional and on time -- even though he didn't like her.

Odd.

This movie is on now. I also believe that it's untrue because Burt Reynolds was interviewed for Raquel Welch's A&E Biography where he spoke flatteringly of her about their movie '100 Rifles.'

Raquel is a delicious thing but a scumbag... In real life and even in the movies. She must of be molested as a child.
