The remake of the 1987 "The Stepfather" opens as I post this.

It well could have been used to promote "Frenzy"...with a different tag-line.

P.S. The original 1987 "Stepfather" was a great thriller, with a couple of really surprising murder scenes by a very Hitchcockian villain.
