Closing soliloquy by Donald Sutherland

In case you're curious, the closing speech in "F.T.A.," spoken by Donald Sutherland, is the final passage of Dalton Trumbo's antiwar novel, "Johnny Got His Gun" published in 1939. A film version of the novel, directed by Trumbo and starring Timothy Bottoms and Jason Robards Jr., was released just a few months before the "F.T.A." tour in 1971. Sutherland also appeared in the Trumbo film, in the role of Jesus Christ. However, Trumbo's film version omits the soliloquy.
