sharelol@ my heart is full. I am watching this movie right now! I am soo mad because I missed an hour of it. I have never heard of this movie until, like two months ago I caught it at the same spot. It caught my attention right away. I think this movie was ahead of it's time even for today. When you see this type of situation displayed on screen, it has to be a comedy. IMDB doesn't even have the listings. If they could or would have to make this over just so it could be released on DVD, I think Shirley McClain(sp) should play the role as Beatrice. I would have loved to see Ann Brancof(sp) play this role also.

I too want it released on dvd with a commentary by Joann Woodward. The Connecticut locations unlocked things buried in my brain from the '70's.

Reality TV shows are released.
I can't remember for sure what channel, but this movie recently played on one of my high def channels. I think maybe it was INHD or INHD2. Anyway, those of you with HD might check your listings if you really want to own the movie, since a DVD release doesn't appear to be on the horizon. By recording it in HD, you can have it in widescreen as well.

I have been looking for this movie for years. I seen it once in a blue moon when it's on TV. Is there anything we can do or say to get this released on DVD ? Do we need to contact Paul Newman and beg him to help us get this movie out ? The only ones I've seen for sale on-line, are very cheap grainy copies . We need the real thing. PLEASE RELEASE THIS MOVIE !
