Available on French PAL DVD, summer of 2013

An official DVD transfer of the film has been released on French PAL DVD. The transfer looks very good for the most part in the 1:85-1 aspect ratio, and is in English audio with removable French subtitles.

To my knowledge, this is the first official commercial release of the film on home video in any country. It has been a long time coming. It is necessary to have a deck that can play PAL discs, to be able to see it.

The disc is available from Amazon.France and Amazon.Italy. I have found it much easier to order from Amazon.Italy than Amazon.France for several reasons. Just a word to the wise...
