I was wondering. Do modern schools still have science fairs? Watching this great film again reminded me of attending my son's middle school science fair in the late 80's. There was no project as funny as cat skeleton girl or speech as beatiful as Matildas.

Yes. Pretty much works the same as when I was a kid including the trifold posterboard.
