Letterboxed DVD anyone??

anyone know if this is available on DVD in widescreen? I've watching the horrible pan and scan version on Encore Westerns! Hadn't seen it since it's first release. Good fun.

It appears this obscure spaghetti western got a DVD release back in November 2008, from a company called Koch Media. There is no indication of what region it is, but I'm guessing it is Region 2 due to the fact that it is not listed on Netfix nor Zip (Canada's answer to Netflix), therefore it is still unavailable to the North American public.

I remember seeing this western when I was a kid back in the late 70s at a drive-in with my parents. I don't recall a lot of gunfights, but there was certainly a lot of fist fighting, including one long barroom brawl. I kind of enjoyed this movie.

For many years I wondered why this movie was so obscure and why it wasn't listed in movie rating books (like Leonard Maltin's, for instance). I finally came to realize it's an Italian-made western, and of course not every single foreign movie gets released in North American theatres. Come to think of it, how did it even manage to find its way to my local drive-in?

I watched it on Encore Westerns, too, and was really frustrated when the actors weren't fully in the shot.

It's showing on the THIS channel, which always shows some apaghetti westerns now and then.
