Dracula's death (spoilers)

Anybody else think Lee's death scene is a bit lame? VH digs a pit of stakes for Dracula to fall into. Then, when they fight the camouflage comes off the pit, and Dracula clearly clocks the stakes. But he still manages to fall into the pit!

Nevertheless, a brilliant movie.

If they move, kill em!

lol That's one of the most bizarre factors as regards Hammer's many Dracula outings; Here is by his own swaggering, an ancient and sapient being who has lived centuries and led nations, yet for all such prestige and puissance, by gum - he sure is one haphazard b!stard
Not only that, but the poor sod seems allergic to virtually everything going, be it the traditional garlic, crucifixes, hawthorn bushes, running water, bibles, silver, etc, etc.
Damn, life as a vampire is ostensibly one hell of a dangerous occupation.

But seriously, a great film - they just don't make them like this anymore
