Alternate scenes with Caroline Munro?

Every photo you see of Caroline Munro getting her neck bit by Dracula shows it from the front and the blood running down her neck and into the cleavage. Yet, in the movie, this whole scene plays out from the back view and that famous image you see from the movie isn't in the film.

Munro should have had a much much much larger part in the film. It was ridiculous that she was not in the film more ... she should have been in her Bride of Dracula glory.

That would be awesome!

The famous Dracula/Caroline shot you mention may have actually been a posed publicity shot taken at the time of filming, so that the camera could capture both their faces. It really is a shame that they had Caroline's character killed off, rather than revived as a vampire. She had a look that would have been perfect for it.

Caroline once commented that the attempt to modernize Dracula in this film was a twist that endeared it to her. While there have been films that tried to transplant the Transylvanian into modern times before, and after, DRACULA AD 1972 was made, I think this one holds up better than most. (Incredible casting helped!)

I concur, I really liked this film but was disappointed when I saw her dumped corpse and realized she wasn't going to be a sexy vamp chick.

Personally , I wouldve featured many more scenes of Drac walking around London and killing people left and right....the scenes would be really horrific/violent so it prolly wouldve ended up being R....lol

Which isn't what a Hammer film was about...
