Does anyone know where i can pick-up the soundtrack to this movie. rarely have i heard a film and wanted to know about the music in it.

I don't know the answer to your question. But I know I saw this movie nearly 35 yrs ago and everytime I think about it that theme song gets stuck in my head for hours. "They were the doggonest gang that the world had ever seen....."

I love it when the song plays at the end with the lil bulldog running down the hill and the dobes following. I've been trying to get screenselect to stock it so I can rent it. Not sure if it's been released on DVD tho(?)

In JAPAN a 45rpm (= single) with 2 tracks has been issued in thse long-gone days, which is pretty hard to find, but worth tracking down (took me a couple years asking around but finally got one). ice cover, too!

It´s too long ago that I have seen the movie, but I doubt there is enough music in it to fill a CD, but FILM SCORE MONTHLY might pick up the idea to add a couple of tracks to some other Silvestri-score, should they issue one some day ...
