I love old horror films. is this suitable for a 14 year old?

Scary Movie and The Green Mile arent Horror even if they are 18's, Might wanna check out Creep as well, its a pretty similar storyline.

It isn't suitable for a 14 year old otherwise it'd be a 12A wouldn't it?

In the intervening 6 years since the OP, I'm sure the 14-year old in question has grown up to be a smart and thoughtful young adult, with a healthy passion for horror movies. Why 'spicy demonic' would think the BBFC knows what it's doing re: categories of 'suitability' is rather beffling.
share...thoughtful young adult...living past a cave-in at the end of some dark gory tunnel...mumbling "Find the moors" or "Mop the floors" or "Mind your wars" or ...WHATEVAAAAAA.
It's "mind the doors". Which is what recorded messages tell rush-hour commuters to do in the London Underground. It means "take care, the doors are closing". It's a safety announcement. And the cannibal will have heard those words all his life without understanding what they mean.
