I've had this happen to me many times.
This site admits that they "clean" out old threads from time to time for maintenence and space, I guess.
Of course, this doesn't mean that there isn't still 167 threads on the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY messageboard about, "What I thought of the movie!" Yeah, real important space usage, site administrator. 😝
