Maybe a Viet Nam combat veteran can judge this...


...but in the opening segment, what's with that soldier wearing a white helmet on a night combat mission? I immediately thought he looked like an easy target, when sure enough, the next thing we see is that he is hit by enemy fire.

Okay, I know it's only a movie, but I couldn't help but wonder who the hell goes out on a night combat mission with a high-visibility helmet like that. Must've been a wardrobe goof.

I think someone in wardrobe didn't know better. White helmets are usually for ceremonies or parades.
