This movie scared the sh!t out of me when I was little.

Me too. It made such an impact that I judge all horror films by it. The dvd was the first thing I ever ordered online.

Saw it as a kid and it haunted me into adulthood. Just watched it again recently and felt the same. I look forward to showing it to others who are fans of the genre. A forgotten gem indeed

I first saw this movie when I was a child.It was on tv. Lynn Carlin"s work after this movie, on tv shows ,always brought me back to this movie.The first weird mother of tv and movies.For my very young viewing memory.

I was born in the 70's but never watched this as it was a bit before my time. Just watched it today and didn't really care for it, it was okay. I can tell though that if I would've watched it in the 80's it probably would've scared the crap out of me though.

I've seen it twice now and both times I really enjoyed it. The story is dark and very intriguing.
