Things We Learned from watching this film ... ( SPOILERS WELCOMED )

1.) This film has all the makings to be the original
pilot movie for the 1984 TV show " Magnum P.I. "
( or perhaps a second pilot movie for the classic TV Show " Night Gallery " ) .   

2.) That if your husband purchases a ghastly looking painting
as a surprise gift for the household make sure he hangs
it on the wall of his den/office .
So you never have to see it
even though at first you wanted him to just get rid of it
( but then later on change your mind about it ? )
   .

3.) If you just happen to purchase a ghastly 300 year old + painting
and a bit later on you start noticing that painting is
changing drastically like people & animals in it vanish
and the paint color is more vivid than before .
Instead of burning it just keep it and try to explain
away why it's all happening    .

4.) That a large black dog with a spiked collar
and a really bad attitude does not make a good companion
for a household especially
when it doesn't get along with the man of the house    .

5.) These 3 witches are definitely taking this revenge
thing very seriously even well after 300+ years -
talk about a long term grudge  .

6.) Ringing a bell can change a " witch's personality " in a second  .

7.) This film definitely needed an alternate ending - IMPO .
