Any cat-related violence in this?

This is showing in october at one of my favorite little theaters in NYC. It sounds hilarious, but I'm a pretty big cat lover, and I gotta know if there's any real cat-related violence in it (any cats harmed in the making of the movie). I'm guessing probably not, but I know the 70's were much more lax about animal safety laws in movies.

I mean, were any real cats harmed in the making of it - not are any fictitious cats killed or hurt, or kill or hurt humans (I pretty much understood they do some harm to humans)

I just watched it and if I remember correctly they IMPLY that a cat gets thrown into a wall, but they didn't show it, I'd have turned it off if they had, as I'm a huge cat lover too.

I highly doubt it. Most of the cat action is pretty benign and takes place off-camera. There's a scene where a doctor dissects a cat's viscera, but it's clearly a stunt carcass.
