Just going to town to promote the circus!

Really? Couldn't they come up with a better pretense to get Casaer and Armando to see the detention camps? Why would they even risk it? Casaer is constantly talking outloud and being shooshed by Armando and no one hears. Just seems lazy and sloppy way to do exposition.

Also, are we really to believe the apes (looking humanoid as on their planet) are simply supposed to be domesticated? They should've been said to have evolved b/c they clearly look it and there is no way Casaer would pass as a regular ape, just look at him! (And no it is not just body language like Armando says!)

How was Casaer allowed all the freedom to organize the revolt so easily? In the beginning of the film any time an ape is away from its master we hear an announcement. Later they are easily gather knives and cleavers and organizing in a large room with Casaer calling the shots and no human takes notice ever. Yea, right.

The action was shot so dark. After all the federal politics we saw in Escape it seemed the humans gave up on a local level pretty easy in this one.

Armando knew about the apes' slavery and must've come to the city due to extreme financial difficulties. The police act as though Marshall Law had been declared, or close to it, indicating a partial collapse of the economy. Ape sales to the wealthy would've been approved by the government, despite the risks made aware to them on the previous movie.
As with any other sci-fi flick, suspension of disbelief is required.

I agree totally about the lameness of why Armando brought Caesar into the city. It was sheer stupidity.

I don't even know enough to know how much I don't know. Ya know?
