harry dean stanton stole this movie
with his little part towards the end of the film. very funny/sad performance.
shareWell, he certainly steals the scenes he's in, though everyone is excellent here. This is an amazing ensemble film that evokes a spirit that no longer exists in this country. How fortunate we at least have this document of a much funkier era. And damn that fly!
shareI didn't think he stole it, but was great as usual. Hackman was very interesting and different a bit than usual and Kristofferson was excellent. Nice little underrated 70s gem.
Nothing is as it seems so I wouldn't judge by what you think you see.
Stanton is always great. Love him in Straight Time with Dustin Hoffman and Gary Busey.
