Who sings that song at the end of the movie????

I have been looking every where for that one song that come at the end of the movie when butch find out susan has OD.

I think it done by Richie Havens but it not on any of his albums but i kind of think Gordon Lightfoot wrote it so it may be on one of his album??

But anyway if anybody knows who the exactly artist is or any know any body or store that has it???

I would be super happy!!!

"Can't Make it Anymore" ..i think it's also Gordon Lightfoot..sounds like him. In the credits at the end of the film it said the song was written by him, but performen by Richie Havens..that may have been a simple error.

Hope that helped a little.
..pourin' off of every page like it was written in my soul from me to you...

Hi,

Now I'm wondering myself! I think in the very last scene when she's getting the shock treatments, it may be someone named Kim Milford. Great song...I'll go watch the end and I'll write back later. See ya!

Hi again,

I think it's titled "Justice" by Kim Milford. Not availible on any soundtrack. I remember back in 1985, I put a crappy little tape recorder up to the tv speaker, so I would have a recording of that song! Not sure if this is the song you're thinking of, but it's an awesome song no matter what. Kim Milford passed away in 1988, but was a recording artist as well as a professional stage actor. Only lived to be 37. See ya!

you are absolutely right, it is justice by kim milford, the osng was originally supposed to be featured on his upcoming record, but unfortunately he died before that could happen and apprently nobody thought of taking the song and releasing it regardless.
beautiful song.

It's JUSTICE by Kim Milford, without any doubt, playing at the conclusion of Ciao Manhattan.
The Havens song occurs earlier, just before the dawn-shot and Mummy's entrance into the pool with the garden hose ending Edie & Butch's night together.

"You can't ball me, she said
I laughed and said, 'I know'
But you can't sing the blues and live, I said
I know, she said, I know..."

Neither the edienation not the youtube link work.
I would love to have this song. Can't be a copyright issue. Don't mind paying the going rate either, but it's not on i-Tunes for instance..
