Saucie Sedgwick? and the other siblings?

After seeing the Warhol documentary on PBS last week, I decided to re-read the 1982 Jean Stein book called "Edie."

Does anyone know what has happened to Edie's sister Saucie and the other Sedgwick siblings since the book was published?

If you've not read the book, it's highly recommended. Saucie seemed to really want the family story to be told.

I love that book. I was wondering the same thing too, about the other members of the family. I wish there had been more photographs of them.

According to Edie's niece (the REAL one, not that fake Misha or whatever her name is) said that all of Edie's siblings are alive & well. Alice (Saucie) lives in Massachusetts, Pamela & Suky live in San Francisco, Kate lives in Santa Ynez Valley and Edie's only living brother Jonathan lives in Idaho.

There was a screening of Ciao Manhattan last night in Los Angeles, as a tribute to the anniversary of her death, and the director David Weisman was there. At the Q&A afterwards, he mentioned that he took part in a screening of the film for Jean Stein in 1972, and she brought along her best friend - Alice Sedgwick! He was petrified of her reaction, but he said that Alice thanked him for capturing some of her sister's essence.
