Best Zombies Ever...

Well almost. Stripper Zombies was great and the Wasting Away Zombies were sweet. But, these Zombies were super awesome definitely in the top 10.

The make-up people did a great job. I also loved the costumes. But, the best thing was these Zombies were smart. I loved the part where they all were just standing in the yard chillin and everyone inside was like WTF are they doing? What are they planning? So, it was cool the Zombies were always a couple steps ahead of the humans. I just wish the Zombies talked that would have been funny, but they did emote so that was great, close to the last scene if you finish watching the movie you will see it, funniest part of the movie.

The special make-up effects were outstanding. The zombies were truly hideous and terrifying. Long live Bob Clark!

I watched this on Sky a year or so back and thought parts of it looked familiar but couldn't think why. Then it cropped up a few days ago on a doom metal video I was watching but I couldn't remember the name of the film. I remembered it as soon as the name was mentioned. And the reason it looked familiar when I watched it a while back was because I'd seen a clip or a still on TV as a teenager.

I think the reason it lingered in the back of my mind was the zombie make-up. So effective! Those monsters look scarily real, especially for the budget.

Sadly the film wasn't my cup of tea and I didn't really feel entertained while watching it. My husband loved it though! :)
