Takes WAY too long to get going

I don't mind that at all. The characters are so much fun their general weird behavior and personalities are almost better than the zombies.

I loved that about it. I (deliberately) didn't know much about it going in, and was halfway hoping there would be no literal zombies at all, and it would all just be about this cultish group and their awful, stupid leader going more and more off the rails and doing more and more terrible and offensive things, until they all start freaking out and losing their minds. That said, once the payoff started kicking in, it REALLY GODDAMNED DELIVERED.
