VERY GOOD MOVIE- PUTS LAZENBY IN A NEW LIGHT

I'm a collector of Lazenby material and this was very easy to get hold of, so I watched and rather enjoyed it- the only problem was the fact that they dubbed Enlish language in place of the Italian which obviously we needed but the dialouge was faster than the mouths in some cases and Lazenby sounded American.

It's a really great movie in George Lazenby's career. When I met him, I asked him about this film and he told me that he has never seen it. And was a bit shocked that I liked it. I asked him why he didn't dub his own voice for the film, and he told me "because they didn't pay me." Maybe one day he'll take a look at it, because it's quite good! Lazenby would do one more giallo in Italy in 1981 with The Last Harem, though it is not as good as Who Saw her Die by a long shot.

A film which is better than its 6.4 imdb average score. Worthy of speculation as to whether it played any influence on Roeg's Don't Look Now albeit a superior film with a far more memorable conclusion.

I was immediately reminded of Don't Look Now when watching this film. However, the murky dialogue and missing explanation for motive lessened my enjoyment of the film. But I did like the atmosphere created. Decadence among rather crumbling splendor.

Am I anywhere near the imaginary cliff?
