I bought this on DVD, turned the volume up to full and there were still scenes where I couldn't hear what was being said.
I couldn't make out what the guy was trying to say to Lazenby as he went off in the boat at the end.
The film didn't make sense to me. I was half asleep when I saw it so that probably didn't help!
yeah, i too had to turn the volume up to hear the dialogue clearly. And that last line i even had trouble with and had to play it twice.
I didn't understand every word of it but it was something like "Wait, you didn't hear the biggest news yet. He wasn't really a priest. he was never ordained."
I couldn't quite make out some of the dialogue myself.
What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!
"Franco! You didnt hear the end of it. The inspector says father James was an imposter. He wasnt a priest at all!"
