Burger stand location: FOUND

MYSTERY SOLVED
The hamburger stand in "The Cheerleaders" was located in Los Gatos, CA. at the corner of Los Gatos Blvd. and Mitchell Ave.

Yesterday I thought I'd take another crack at solving this little mystery discussed in another thread.
With a little luck, some dogged determination and the help of Google search and maps, I was able to make the discovery.

Sadly, but not unexpectedly, the burger stand is long gone - replaced by a small office building. The large Baptist church and tudor house across the street are still there however. Surprisingly, the little convenience/ foodstore is still there as well.

After all this time has passed, I was sure someone involved in the movie would comment on this. The burger joint was 7 miles southeast of the high school. So close, and I couldn't locate it myself! It was impossible to make out "Los Gatos" from the corner street sign.

I was hoping to stop there and buy a burger someday but the opportunity is gone. Thank you Mr. Gilezuk for finding it. Now I can sleep at night!

Happy to do it. I'm glad I was able to find it. It was driving me a little crazy as well.
......Now, if I could only find the the location of the car wash.

The Beaver Car Wash was at 3455 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, CA according to another place on the web. It's now named "Tans Touchless Car Wash"

PC strikes again?

By gosh, that old Big Beaver/Little Beaver car wash has it's own website. There's several photos on the home page and it's the same building as in 1972. Hazzard a guess as to how many sets of roller brushes they have worn out since then?
