Coming to US Blu-ray as of August 11, 2015

Code Red is releasing this film on Blu-ray through the fine mail order company SAE (Screen Archives Entertainment) as an exclusive. As of today, August 11th, SAE is now accepting preorders for it.

The disc will have an audio commentary track with director Paul Glickler, and writer Ace Bandage. The track may have been recorded for a previous DVD release.

And the Code Red blu ray looks amazing for a low budget early '70s drive-in flick. This looks (and plays) MUCH better than the Code Red blu of Revenge of the Cheerleaders (which is one ugly looking transfer for a movie made in 1976).
Back upon its initial release in 1972 The Cheerleaders was rated X. It later was re-rated R after a cut of a scene on a stationary bike. This blu ray is listed as "not rated" and is 83 minutes uncut (even though here on IMDb it is listed as 84 minutes). The film is presented in anamorphic 1.78 filling the screen. I am shocked this film made a blu ray release! Limited pressing and kinda pricey, but a collector's item for us drive-in movie fans.
