I know Bunuel liked the movie, but what's the point in completely copying the story mechanic of another movie? It was so blunt that it would seem like Bunuel notified Has beforehand that he was going try his hand at his own Saragossa Manuscript. It's either a huge tribute to Has or a shameless copy.


