The discreet meaning?

I didn't get it. Hey, I like non-linear, plotless films as much as the next guy (actually more, the "next guy" probably DOESN'T like plotless films at all). I'm not saying it's a bad film. Just saying I'm too far removed from the time and place to really be able to connect to the sensibility this film conveys. This movie frustrated me more than anything else. I guess I'm too bourgeois.
