Yeah, it doesn't sound like "Charlie Brown" at all. Doesn't match his personality.

I think it works, like when he's fretting about how "Peppermint Patty will hate me the rest of my life."

I saw it when it came out in 1973 and that voice put me off immediately. Since they had moved on to the brother of the original Linus voice, who did fine, they should have done a better job with Chuck's.

My people skills are fine. It's my tolerance of morons that needs work.

For the most part I thought it was alright, but little stuff like 'Snoopy, how about your chef's hat?', that irked me.
