I'm watching it now. I usually look movies up here when I begin watching after it starts. Glad I stayed tuned . This is good/hilarious/worth 2 hrs of my Sunday afternoon. Headboard happens to be against a "greenhouse effect" wall and a photo is captured mid-coitus and the the massage scene! loving this!

Some good early '70's moments (and style). Good cast. Coburn did a great job (like in many other films).

One question: His girlfriend's husband was "away" and returned. Does anybody know where he was???

It's just bugging me.

He was skiing somewhere in the west--she said it at an early point in the movie--was it Aspen? Or Colorado?

That's what I recall too; he was off skiing because he wasn't quite sure he wanted a wife and child and the responsibilities.

What bothered me a LOT about this movie is how it dealt with Georgia's marriage. Her husband was described as an irresponsible person who was neglecting his family but she was basically doing the same.

Georgia quickly shacked up with Carey, a guy she had just recently met. She had a very young child; a son, yet she was spending a lot of her time with and working on her relationship with Carey. She should have resolved her marriage issues before complicating things with another man. She waited to see what the husband would do then let Carey decide how she would move forward. She needed to consider her son and not just herself.

Also, given this movie dealt with abortion I don't understand why Georgia would be sleeping with Carey. She risked getting pregnant by him while still married to another man. She had no lasting ties with Carey. She was barely taking care of the one son she already had; how was she going to manage a new baby.

What kind of message was this movie sending? The fact that these people were adults did not mean much; they still behaved irresponsibly and with no regard for any of the possible consequences of their actions. The girl's case did nothing to open their eyes. They seemed to worry more about a picture than a potential child.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]
