This flic reminds me how far we've come in doin'comedy;

though there are references to the "pill"and perhaps other related items fixed in that time period,one gets no impression this is remotely close to a R ranking or even a PG-13.

socially relevant:no,a resounding nyet!

The things that pass for comedy today...brother.

It is refreshing to go back in Hope's film career and enjoy classics such as

Paleface,Ghostbreakers and many,many more.
