I wasn't disappointed. Most people liked this film. It was Sidney Poiter's directorial debut, so it wasn't perfect, but it was still very entertaining. I think he did a fine job for his first time on such short notice.

I liked it too. The hill-top shootout at the end was very good and I loved the soundtrack featuring Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee.🐭
