I'm sorry but this movie should be in the top 250. It's one of my all time favorites and the story line is superbly tear jerking.

It's a shame that this movie debuted on TV. It's probably the best made-for-TV movie in television history.

Apparently, films about elves and trolls fighting dragons in order to protect jewelery, warm the hearts of IMDB voters more-so than those concerning human tragedy and inspiration.
