Just a little overdone, like the expressions on the faces of the men in the locker room when they first heard about Brian's cancer. I did not finish the movie, but from what I did watch, it seemed a little over dramatized..

shareAgreed. I was 13 when I first saw this movie, and never forgot it. When I had the chance to buy it on DVD, I did in a heartbeat. Maybe the OP has never lost anyone to cancer. Or had cancer. Maybe if they had they would have a different opinion. Great story then, great story now.
