So many twists and turns

I love TCM for showing these old films, and this one is a gem. I never knew that Joyce Van Patten and Yaphet Kotto made a film together, but here it is, in all its 1970s glory complete with socio-economic and racial relation overtones. The ending was terrific, where Bones can't bear to look at the ugly mess he created so he bails. The themes are just as relevant today as they were when the film was made.
